Crystal Glazes are designed to expand upon the surface with dazzling bursts of color. Designed to perform in oxidation or reduction firing processes, they will work on a variety of clay bodies and have a firing range from cone 5 to 10. (Do your own test).
ON THE LEFT:
Cone: 6 (fired flat, in oxidation, on white stoneware)
Finish: An aquamarine gloss glaze that contains an iron crystal. Appears mysterious like underwater footage.
Dinnerware Safe: Yes (If applied properly and fired to proper cone).
