Stoneware Specialty glazes were developed for special effects and surface depth. Designed to perform in oxidation or reduction firing processes from cone 5 to cone 10 on stoneware or porcelain bodies. (Do your own test).
ON THE LEFT:
Cone: 6 (fired flat, in oxidation, on white stoneware body)
Finish: A bright white gloss glaze that develops a fine crackle pattern. Works well on stoneware and porcelain bodies. Use India ink to highlight or accentuate crackle patterns.
